²⁷ On the seventh day some of the people went out to collect it, but they did not find any. ²⁸ Therefore, the Lord said to Moses, “How long will you refuse to obey my commands and my laws? ²⁹ See that the Lord had given you the Sabbath. This is why he has given you two days worth of bread on the sixth day. Let every person stay where he is. No one is to go out on the seventh day to the place where they find it.”
